劇情簡介

邁爾肯（丹澤爾•華盛頓 Denzel Washington 飾）出生於一個黑白通婚的傢庭，其父是黑人牧師，其母是無偏見的白人。但是當時，美國種族矛盾激化，3K黨經常騷擾他傢，在他的幼小心靈中種下瞭復仇的種子。邁爾肯長大後，混跡於街巷酒吧之中，甚至染上瞭毒品、偷盜等惡習。一次偶然的機會，邁爾肯與白人女子索菲亞相遇，但這段愛情因種族偏見而夭折。邁爾肯因犯罪鋃鐺入獄，正當他處於困境之時，一位黑人教徒引領他皈依瞭伊斯蘭教，這也成為他人生的轉捩點。他通過閱讀大量書籍，逐漸瞭解瞭種族歧視的文化根源，並多次在公開場合宣揚黑人要獨立、對白人復仇的激進主張，引起軒然大波。邁爾肯成為很多人的眼中釘，甚至遭遇瞭背叛，引來瞭滅頂之災……Video
