劇情簡介

作為導演最著名的影片，《紅色贊美詩》詩意地敘述瞭發生在19世紀90年代匈牙利的一次農民起義事件。影片審視瞭起義的本質，探討瞭道德與暴力的問題。影片運用象征性的影象和語言，將紅色運用到極致，並以導演特有的風格拍攝，全片僅有28個鏡頭。影評人認為楊索的敘事風格與芭蕾舞劇中的技巧非常相似。那些采取不抵抗政策的農民隻是為瞭爭取基本權利，與當局政權以及後來的軍隊陷入僵持狀態。所有農民在對峙中休戰片刻，慶祝自己的節日。之後，他們繼續抗爭，結果卻以悲劇收場。
