劇情簡介

來自紐約的商業糾紛調解專傢Michael Garrett（Adrian Pasdar）決定暫時離開緊張繁忙的工作，給自己放個大假，但他的老板卻將他派到一座愛爾蘭小鎮去促成一宗不同尋常的交易－－一傢冶煉廠想買下一塊地進行施工，可當地人稱這塊地曾是「矮妖」的定居點，沒有他們的同意不能賣地。雖然那隻是個傳說，但當地「過時」的法律卻承認這種說法。Michael隻好向「矮妖」研究專傢、當地酒吧老板娘Sarah Cavanaugh（Amy Huberman）請教，並很快發現這次的任務越來越棘手。Sarah也承認這塊地屬於「矮妖」，因此拒絕簽署Michael帶來的建築許可證。Michael想要說服Sarah，但……他竟然愛上瞭Sarah！現在麻煩來瞭－－在工作和愛情之間，他要選擇哪一個？他是否能夠既不讓老板失望，又抱得美人歸？或者這該死的「矮妖」傳說會讓他兩手空空地掃興而歸？Video
