劇情簡介

來自孤山的矮人們再造瞭他們那片故土的富庶，但是現如今不得不面對的一個問題是，他們釋放出瞭那頭可怕的惡龍－－史矛戈，來攻擊長湖鎮這些手無寸鐵的男人，女人和孩子們。
索林·橡木盾，這位山下的國王，屈服於對惡龍的恐懼，犧牲瞭友誼與榮耀來尋找傳說中的阿肯寶石。比爾博無法幫助索林明白個中的道理，他不得不做出瞭一個孤註一擲充滿危險的決定，全然不知前方還有著更大的危機。一個遠古時期的敵人回到瞭中土世界。黑魔王索倫派出瞭半獸人軍團來秘密攻擊孤山。
