劇情簡介
一九四二年，第二次世界大戰，日軍入侵馬來西亞時，一支遊擊隊在美籍工程師法瑞、馬來青年吳與歐亞混血籍女郎丹娜的領導下，進入森林繼續對抗日軍，三人患難生死與共。三年後，日軍投降。
當澳印軍隊紛紛復員開拔回國，在車站上，法瑞告X已購置橡膠園謀發展，勸吳留下參加，不料吳誤入歧途，車開前，吳掏出傳傢護符贈法，留作紀念，但從今後友誼結束，各行其是，法與丹頹然目送吳離開。
八年後，法瑞經營得法，已成當地實業界名人，丹娜執教鄉村學校，也身兼教師聯誼會主席，二人相愛，生活過得相當愉快。那時，吳已潛回馬來，領導馬共展開恐怖行動。法瑞的產業雖未受損害，但經不起當局的相勸，借重法過去與吳的關系，法獨自深入森林尋吳，替吳與馬來作公開談判鋪路，但不歡而歸。
歸途中，法在海灘結識杜林的女兒甘黛絲，甘對法的英俊儀表，芳心為之暗許。那時，杜林已晉升為英國駐馬來亞高級專員瞭，他作風開明…Video
