劇情簡介

以報社為背景的喜劇，由三十年代的四大巨星威廉．鮑華、莫娜．羅拉、斯潘塞．特蕾西、琪恩．哈洛聯手主演，故事描述報社編輯利用他的未婚妻和前任記者去實施美男計好讓一名富豪的女繼承人放棄控告報社誹謗罪，不料計劃走瞭樣，……搞得好不熱鬧。全片劇情峰回路轉，從頭至尾的發展都捉住觀眾的註意力，導演傑克．康威爾也拍得流暢而緊湊，讓四位大明星都有大展演技的機會，因而制造出相當高的喜趣效果。
